Mind your manners

A man forgot to open the door for the lady. Of course, the lady was perfectly capable of opening her own doors. But the man had forgotten the gesture of courtesy in this manner. I pointed out, "How rude, man! Where are your manners?" And I was right. And then someone took me to the side and talked to me privately about how rude it was to point that out so publicly, about how rude it is to put someone on blast. And he was right.
